Celebrate spring at Holi Fest, a traditional Indian celebration
March 26th, 2022 @ 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Downtown Evanston and the Evanston Association of Indians (EAI) founded by Bindu Reddy, are hosting Evanston’s first-ever Holi Fest an Indian celebration that marks the beginning of spring, renewal and love. It is traditionally celebrated by throwing colored powder into the air and on themselves and dancing to Bollywood music.
Join us on Saturday, March 26 (rescheduled date), 11am-1pm at Raymond Park to welcome spring together! Mt. Everest Restaurant will have samosas and vegetarian and non-vegetarian lunch boxes for sale. One River School of Evanston will provide a festive backdrop for color-filled photos. Colored powder packets will be available for sale for $2. More info here.
