Christmas Pageant: “God of Great and Small”

Have you ever looked up at a dark, starry sky and felt very small? Have you ever gotten discouraged and wondered how you could possibly make a difference when faced with life’s biggest problems? “God of Great and Small” explores the contrasts between the vastness of God of the cosmos, and the intimacy of the tiny baby Jesus in a manger. We’ll travel to the stars, to the nativity scene, and back to modern times to tell the story of the importance of all of us. With a new script written in collaboration with Andrew Biliter, Artistic Director of Mudlark Theater, this Christmas pageant will have you looking at the nativity story, and your place in the universe, in a whole new way. Invite your family and friends of all ages to join you at this meaningful holiday tradition presented during worship at First Congregational Church of Evanston, UCC on Sunday, December 18th at 10am. This event is free and friendly to all ages. We are an open and affirming congregation. No matter who you are or where you are on your journey of faith or life, you are welcome here!
