Climate Action 10 Second Film Festival
April 22nd, 2022 @ 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
FreeCelebrate Earth Week with District 65 Climate Action Teams and Citizens’ Greener Evanston!
We’ll be screening ten second environmental films created by D65 students:
Friday, April 22nd in the Rotary auditorium (1560 Sherman Ave.) at 6:30 p.m.
Our third 10 Second Film Festival is an event for the whole family! Come watch the students’ perspectives on the environment and climate action on the big screen. Students who attend will be part of a raffle for fun, experienced based prizes.
The Film Festival will feature a repurposed instrument drumming circle! Feel free to bring some improvised musical instruments from home (kitchen utensils anyone?). Anything that you can hit, shake, or scrape would be great. Or if you’re able you could even make your own instrument! We’ll have some extra on hand in case you’re not able to bring any.
Visit https://10secondfilmfestival.com to submit a film; deadline is midnight April 21st.
Tickets are free but are required for entrance as there are a limited number available. Get your tickets through Eventbrite (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/291097690027). Current Rotary guidelines require proof of vaccination and masking inside the building.
