Decent, Safe, Sanitary… and Equitable: Protecting Rental Housing in Evanston

Community Alliance for Better Government (CABG) is hosting this grassroots educational forum on rental housing oversight in Evanston. How can the City best ensure that all tenants are treated fairly and able to live their lives in homes fully up to code? Evanstonians, particularly vulnerable low-income tenants, small landlords, and their neighbors, need to be able to rely on the City to protect them. In this forum, we hope to shape the policy conversation and make fair and effective protections for all of our neighbors a reality.
