District 65 PTA Equity Project Plant Sale

Spring is on its way and now is the time to order some plants for your yard and garden! The District 65 PTAs are holding the first annual district-wide plant sale to raise money for every District 65 school through the PTA Equity Project (PEP) One Fund Initiative and help each school meet their fundraising goal.

The PEP Plant Sale offers native flowers, shrubs, and trees that are perfectly suited to Evanston and Skokie’s ecosystem and especially selected for their ability to support pollinators, birds, and other wildlife. We want to encourage everyone to plant native plants to support a healthy environment for us all. Native plants have tight relationships with wildlife, formed over many thousands of years, providing natural sources of food, cover and places to raise young. Without healthy native plant communities, wildlife cannot survive.

We are accepting pre-orders until Monday, March 14. The plants will be available for pickup on Saturday, May 14. A limited quantity of plants will be available for purchase at the sale so please be sure to pre-order. Your purchase will go far to support our schools and your garden. Thank you!
