• How can it help support my student or enhance learning?
• What is an AT evaluation and how do I get one?
• How can AT be implemented at school/home?
• What are common AT tools and applications?
Presented by Shira Schwartz, an Educational Advocate who supports families with IEP/504 plans. Shira, who coordinates the North Shore Dyslexia Awareness Group and is a former teacher at Lake Forest Country Day School and Anshe Emet Day School, has spoken at several ERI conferences on Assistive Technology (AT), IEPs and school law. She received her graduate degrees at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Loyola University in Education.
