Evanston History Center’s 48th Annual Mother’s Day House Walk

After a three-year hiatus, the Evanston History Center’s in-person Mother’s Day House Walk returns on Sunday, May 14, 2023, 1pm-5pm, rain or shine. This year’s House Walk features interior visits to five spectacular private homes in Evanston’s Lake Shore Historic District. These beautiful houses have been selected for their architectural significance, important histories, and stunning interiors. We are delighted to continue this wonderful tradition.

Advance Tickets: There are two advanced purchase House Walk ticketing options: EHC Member tickets ($45 each) and Non-Member tickets ($50 each). Advanced purchase of House Walk tickets closes at 5 pm (CST) on Saturday, May 13, 2023. Confirmation of your purchase will be emailed to the address you provided. If you do not receive a confirmation, please email Erin Hughes at ehughes@evanstonhistorycenter.org. Tickets can be picked up at the Evanston History Center, 225 Greenwood St., on Sunday, May 14, 2023, beginning at 12 pm.
The House Walk book is the event ticket. Tickets include access to the houses on the House Walk and entrance to the Dawes House, home of the Evanston History Center.
Same-day tickets will be available for an additional $5 and can be purchased at the Evanston History Center, 225 Greenwood Street, beginning at 12 pm on Sunday, May 14, 2023.
Children 12 and older require a ticket. House Walk tickets are non-refundable. Addresses are not available in advance.
