Kesem at Northwestern Make the Magic Gala 2023

Kesem is a nationwide non-profit community driven by college student volunteers that supports children through and beyond their parent’s cancer. Serving children ages 6 to 18, Kesem at Northwestern University offers two week-long sessions of summer camp along with year round programming for these Chicagoland families. Camp is free for all of our families to ensure no child faces their parent’s cancer alone, and each year around 200 campers are involved in our programming.
At Northwestern, our chapter organizes an annual fundraising gala called Make the Magic where we bring together community members, alumni, and various donors to help raise money for these children and our mission. This year, our event will take place on April 28, 2023 at The Crystal Ballroom in Evanston, IL. VIP Cocktail hour will begin at 5:45pm, and doors will open for general ticket holders at 6:30pm.
