Mayor’s Summer Youth Employment Program

The 2021 Job Fair will be held from 8:00am – 12:30 pm on Saturday, March 20 at Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center, 1655 Foster St., Evanston. Doors will close at Noon. The City of Evanston adheres to all COVID-19 precautions recommended by local, state, and federal entities.
Students
Registration opens February 22, 2021 and will close March 7, 2021. Youth interested in participating in the 2021 Mayor’s Summer Youth Employment Program must REGISTER HERE. Paid virtual learning opportunities and employment are available.
Participant Requirements
Students interested in participating in MSYEP must fit the below criteria for eligibility:
1. All applicants must be Evanston residents living in zip code areas 60201 & 60202
2. Youth must be age 14-18 (must be 14 by June 7, 2021)
Youth may be required to take a pre-hire drug test.
Employers
Local businesses are encouraged to participate in the Mayor’s Summer Youth Employment Program. Employers interested in participating in this year’s program, please submit your request.
