Join us for the next Concert of our Spring Concert Series at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Evanston, IL. The concert is on Monday, March 20, at noon and will feature trumpeter Thomas Hubel accompanied by Westley Art Hodges. The concert is free and open to the public, and an offering will be collected to support the music ministries of St. Mark’s. Details: St. Mark’s Episcopal Church (1509 Ridge Ave, Evanston). Parking is limited to street parking, but plenty is within walking distance. St. Mark’s is located in Downtown Evanston, so there are many great restaurants to go to after the concert.
More about Thomas:
Originally from Mountain View, CA, Thomas Hubel is currently pursuing a Master’s in Music in Trumpet Performance from Northwestern University. He holds a Bachelor’s in Music Education and K-12 teaching credential from the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music in Stockton, CA, and served as a band director at St. Francis High School in the heart of Silicon Valley before moving to Evanston. During the summer, he teaches brass with the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum & Bugle Corps – a role he assumed in 2019. He enjoys making cold brew coffee, hunting for deals on cool sneakers, and spending time with his wonderful girlfriend, Katie.
