Opus 327 Presents Organist Peter Morey

Opus 327 returns to live programming and kicks off its Centennial Season with a concert featuring Peter Morey, organist at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church Evanston. The concert will feature the symphonic organ music of Joseph Bonnet, César Franck, and Charles-Marie Widor.
Peter Morey is an emerging sacred musician from Baltimore, Maryland, and was recently named one of the Organ Historical Society’s E. Power Biggs Scholars. In the Fall of 2021, Peter will be starting his studies for the Doctor of Musical Arts in Organ Performance and Literature at the University of Illinois under Dr. Dana Robinson. He also holds a Master of Music in Sacred Music from East Carolina University and the Colleague Certification from the American Guild of Organists.
Please note that all guests, artists, and staff will be required to show proof of either full vaccination alongside a government-issued ID. Official copies, photocopies, and digital photos of COVID-19 documentation are all acceptable. Regardless of vaccination status, all guests and staff will be required to wear a mask over their nose and mouth while inside the venue.
