About Pan•American

Mark Nelson first began recording under the name Pan•American in 1997, releasing a self-titled debut album a year later.

The band’s follow up LP ‘360 Business/360 Bypass’ (2000) included collaborations from all three members of US alternative group Low as well as Chicago trumpeter Rob Mazurek. The project continues to produce interesting music with the most recent release being 2009’s ‘White Bird Release’.
