This year, the Evanston History Center’s (EHC) 47th Annual Mother’s Day House Walk-By will feature a week of programming beginning on Saturday May 7, 2022. For the first time in the walk’s 47-year history, we will explore the Oakton Historic District. This year, we offer self-guided tours of the featured neighborhood (the House “Walk-By”); a zoom presentation with preservation experts, homeowners and architects; a lecture about the CTA Yellow Line, held at the Dawes House; docent led walking tours of the Oakton Historic District; and of course, EHC’s signature House Walk Book. Join the Evanston History Center today and receive a member discount on tickets and admission to all of these events!

The Week at a Glance:
