The N-Word Intervention Project: Unpacking the N-Word

Event Description:

Dr. Logan Consulting invites educators, parents/caregivers, and other who work with youth to the launch of the N-Word Intervention Project, designed to help adults and youth confront and the navigate the pain, outrage, defensiveness, defiance, fear, and refusal to engage, associated with usage of the N-Word. The launch will feature a history of the N-word, an engaging activity, discussion, resources, description of the program’s impact, and a performance by SOUL Creations. The event will be hosted at the Fleetwood Jourdain Community Center at 1655 Foster St. Evanston, IL 60201, and parking is available at the Faith Temple Church of God in Christ & Family Focus parking lots.
