The Past, Present, and Future of Housing Segregation on Chicago’s North Shore

April 25 @ 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

Free

As part of Fair Housing Month, join Open Communities at the Unitarian Church of Evanston to learn about housing segregation’s past, present, and future on Chicago’s North Shore. At this event, we will review some of the policies & practices used to create and maintain housing segregation, look at the local history of housing segregation on Chicago’s North Shore, and explore pathways forward for creating a more inclusive North Shore community. This event is a collaboration between Open Communities, The Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County, and Mr. Dino Robinson, founder of Shorefront Legacy Center.

Note: This is a free event, but we ask that you register for a ticket.
We will also offer this event via the Unitarian Church of Evanston’s Livestream link: https://youtube.com/live/RWmYnwP_Xz0
