Why so much interest in vegan and vegetarian diets?

October 26 @ 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Free

The Vegan Museum and the Evanston Public Library will be hosting Carol D’Anca as she gives a presentation titled, “Why so much interest in vegan and vegetarian diets?”

She will be going over: the three main reasons why there’s so much interest in vegan and vegetarian diets today, how to avoid the “traps” that circumvent your best efforts to improve your diet, why children don’t eat vegetables and how to solve the problem, and a demonstration using three common foods almost everyone uses and how to determine the differences in quality and health benefits.

This event is completely free! It is at the Evanston Public Library Community Meeting Room. It starts at 6:00PM and is approximately one hour long. Afterward, Kay Stepkin, the Founder of The Vegan Museum, will give a free tour of the exhibit.
