Youth Job Center annual benefit Thursday, April 28

Youth Job Center (YJC), an Evanston-based workforce development agency, is hosting their annual benefit on Thursday, April 28th, from 6-8:30pm (VIP reception beginning at 5:30pm) at Walden Chicago. General admission tickets are $125 per person and includes refreshments and hors d’oeuvres throughout the evening. VIP tickets are $150 per person includes admission to an exclusive VIP reception.
With 200 anticipated guests, the theme for this year’s event is “The Future Starts Today.” YJC hopes to raise $150,000 to support their various workforce development programs, including work-readiness training, Career Pathways program, employment support, and other supportive services. The evening will consist of a VIP reception, cocktail hour, paddle raiser, raffle, panel discussion with YJC ‘s leadership, and client speakers. YJC will also be celebrating the accomplishments of departing Executive Director, Karen Tollenaar Demorest.
