Youth Substance Use Prevention Starts at Home – Home Environmental Factors

We are honored to have two experienced professionals in the Substance Use Treatment and Prevention field speak on the topic of Youth Substance Use Prevention, focusing on the environmental factors in the home that can influence a youth’s perceptions, experimentation, and use of alcohol, tobacco/e-cigarettes, and other drugs.

Eric Dean, CEO of Front Door Health, will talk through the home environmental factors that can influence youth, with special attention to the communities within Chicagoland and New Trier Township, IL. Erin Tegge, Prevention Program Coordinator from PEER Services, will be talking about the importance of prevention work when it comes to preventing youth substance use. Additionally, you will learn tips on how to support your youth and empowering them to not use substances.

This Webinar is organized and hosted by the KEY Coalition, whose mission is to reduce the use of e-cigarettes, alcohol, cannabis, and other substances among youth in the communities of New Trier Township, located in northeastern Illinois.
