Programming Planned in October Around the 'Undesign the Redline' Exhibit
Submitted by the City of Evanston

Undesign the Redline

Members of the Evanston community are invited to attend programming around the “Undesign the Redline” exhibit. Created by Designing the WE, the exhibit will continue to be displayed on the 2nd Floor of the Morton Civic Center for public viewing through October 23.

This educational exhibit connects the intentional and systematic racial housing segregation of the 1930s to political and social issues of today, through the powerful narratives of the people and communities affected by redlining and its legacy.
