City's Community Services Manager Challenging City Discipline in Credit Card Case
Updated: 11/15/19: Mr. Brown's employment has been terminated by the City of Evanston.

Mr. Brown, in his email to supporters, said that allegations brought by the City in the case involve use of a City credit card to pay for parking tickets issued to City of Evanston vehicles or staff vehicles displaying a City of Evanston business placard in the City of Evanston Civic Center lot, 2100 N. Ridge Ave.

Committee Holds Off on Ending Free Parking for Some Holders of 'Disabled' Placards
City officials have added a heap of parking-rate fees and hikes over the past year, in part to close a budget gap. But members of the City’s Transportation & Parking Committee, held off on one at their Oct. 23 meeting — recommending an end to free parking at meters for holders of certain placards for disabled parking.
