ICE Was Not Present

Custer Fair is simply a fundraiser for Piccolo Theatre. It is not, and has never been, a racist organization that seeks to help the government deport people. More Room: World's Oldest Boomer Tells It Like It Was

Mostly, we Boomers luxuriated in a time of excitement and potential – “the scent of possibilities breaking the cast of outdated thought,” as Richard Powers writes in “The Overstory.”

More Room:The Ecstasy of Every Day
The mundane comes with the calendar: a late May day, unremarkable except for a cool, light breeze and a warming sun, one of the first after our extended dreary spring. The magic comes with a fresh mindset: to take in every molecule and atom that sparkles and shimmers in the morning light. New perception brings new appreciation: relish how wonderful are the everyday details of life!

Different Decorations, Same Holiday
