Room for a View: Sexuality and Religious Life
The recent meetings in Rome about pedophilia and child abuse are crucial to the Catholic Church’s image – and its future.  But the topic, tragic as it is, was not broad enough to address the root problem in vetting and educating those called to a life of service and sacrifice in its ministry. Does the Church realize that? Can it acknowledge the larger problem it needs to face, namely its attitude toward sexuality itself

Editorial: In Our View, Imposing Special Use Requirements on Residential Care Homes Would Violate Federal Civil Rights Laws

Aside from the legalities, as a matter of policy, the City should be engaging in efforts to enable housing for people with disabilities in neighborhood settings, rather than restricting it. We should keep in mind that society is judged on how it treats its most vulnerable.
