Franklin Street Properties Corp., an investment firm specializing in real estate, announced today that it acquired the office building at 909 Davis St. on Sept. 30 for $35.1 million. Completed in 2002, the building contains 195,245 rentable square feet and is approximately 95% leased.
This acquisition brings Franking Street’s total portfolio of directly-owned properties to 35 containing an aggregate of approximately 6,943,060 rentable square feet.
Franklin Street, based in Wakefield, Massachusetts, focuses on achieving current income and long-term growth through investments in commercial properties, according to a prepared statement it issued. The majority of FSP’s property portfolio is suburban office buildings, with select investments in certain central business district properties.
